About Radnor Veterinary Hospital

For over 40 years, Radnor Veterinary Hospital has been proudly caring for animals of all shapes, sizes, and species in Wayne, PA.

Comprehensive Care: Our Personalized Approach

Radnor Veterinary Hospital was founded in 1981 in an old Victorian house in the heart of Wayne. Back then, one vet provided care and boarding for just dogs and cats. In 2001, Dr. Len Donato became the owner and began seeing rabbits, birds, rodents, reptiles, and other exotic pets. Since then, our hospital has provided veterinary care to many different types of exotic pets and wildlife. We also proudly serve as an adjunct teaching facility for the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine.

In October 2011, we moved our hospital to a much larger, more modern facility across the street from our old house. Our new building was once an old mill that trains used to drive directly through to deliver lumber and coal. Our large, updated hospital allows us to provide even better patient care with the latest technologically advanced equipment, including a CT scanner. We also offer boarding services for all types of pets. We are also home to The Radnor Dog Club, which provides indoor playtime to dogs of all shapes and sizes!

We are AAHA Accredited

AAHA is the only organization that accredits veterinary practices in the United States and Canada. Practices that pursue accreditation are evaluated on stringent quality standards encompassing all aspects of veterinary medicine—from pain management and patient care to team training and medical recordkeeping—and are continuously updated to keep accredited practice teams at the forefront of the profession. Today, only about 15% of veterinary practices in the US and Canada hold the “AAHA-accredited” designation, and we are proud to be a part of those select few.
